The Marketing Automations Manager will be responsible for the day-to-day implementation and management of HLT’s Marketo marketing automation platform, including ownership of omnichannel campaigns that leverage email, push notifications, SMS, and other communications.  

Additionally, the Marketing Automations Manager will drive increased customer engagement by launching new orchestrated drip programs, analyzing data, and continually optimizing campaign segmentation, messaging, and the overall user experience. 

The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of marketing automation technology, customer relationship management, and retention strategies. You are passionate about delivering value to users through diverse marketing touchpoints, driving results, and improving user outcomes. 

Responsibilities:

  • Build, test and deploy sophisticated cross-channel marketing campaigns to drive increased user engagement
  • Tailor communications based on targeted segments and user attributes, including channel routing, message frequency, and dynamic content & personalization
  • Analyze campaign performance, report on KPIs, and continually optimize tactics & messaging through multivariate testing
  • Own all aspects of HLT’s marketing automation platform (Marketo), including integrations with Salesforce CRM, Carnival mobile messaging, and SMS services
  • Ensure our messages are seen across channels by following best practices, maintaining exceptional list hygiene, and implementing new deliverability strategies
  • Create, test and optimize campaign landing pages to improve the conversion funnel
  • Collaborate with design, content, and other digital marketers to create campaign collateral and stay consistent with the team’s broader marketing strategy
  • Find new & creative ways to deliver the right messages to the right users at the right times 
  • Maintain a comprehensive understanding of HLT’s marketing technology stack and how to leverage user attributes & highly-segmented data
  • Manage vendor relationships for our core marketing automation tools

 

Qualifications:

  • 4+ years of progressive experience in digital marketing and communications
  • Demonstrated experience in managing large and complex audience segments & messaging sequences
  • Familiarity with mobile marketing communication channels, including push notifications, in-app messaging, and SMS
  • Deep understanding of how email interacts with CRM data and other organic & paid marketing channels
  • Proven ability to improve campaign performance by identifying business opportunities in user data, campaign results, and cross-channel attribution
  • Extensive experience implementing tests and analyzing data to continually optimize campaigns
  • Good understanding of landing page and user experience optimization for automated communication campaigns
  • Experience working with Marketo strongly preferred; experience with Salesforce CRM is a plus
  • Proven ability to think strategically and make credible recommendations that drive measurable results, identifying and pursuing opportunities to grow the business
  • Excellent verbal and written communication and presentation skills
  • High levels of integrity, autonomy, and self-motivation
